Your Complimentary Race-Day AD&D Protection
What this participating-event benefit provides, why activation matters, and how to put it in place before race day.

A participating event can offer more than a place on the start line. Eligible consumers may also be able to activate complimentary Race-Day Accidental Death & Dismemberment protection associated with that specific experience. There is no additional premium charged to the consumer for the complimentary race-day coverage, so activating it can add meaningful protection without adding another cost to event day.
AD&D stands for Accidental Death & Dismemberment. It is designed to pay a benefit when a covered accident results in an accidental death or another qualifying loss listed in the policy, such as certain forms of dismemberment. That is a focused purpose, but it is an important one: serious accidental outcomes can create immediate financial consequences for an individual or family.
HiQOR’s current Race-Day protection data lists a $25,000 accidental death benefit. Any benefit for a covered loss, including whether a dismemberment qualifies and the amount payable for it, is determined by the actual policy schedule and terms. AD&D is distinct from accident-medical coverage and should not be read as reimbursement for ordinary treatment expenses.
The coverage is tied to an eligible participating event or race-day experience. A general event listing does not establish eligibility, and not every event includes complimentary protection. When an eligible registration appears in HiQOR, the Protection experience identifies the event and provides the activation path.
Activation matters because availability is not the same as coverage being in force. Completing the activation step before event day is what allows an eligible consumer to put the complimentary benefit in place for the applicable race-day period. If the opportunity is available, acting on it means using an additional protection benefit that already comes through the participating experience.
Race-Day AD&D is best understood as one layer around the event itself. Its value does not depend on pretending it solves every accident-related need. It provides event-specific financial protection for covered serious accidental outcomes, while other forms of protection may address medical expenses or a broader period of active life.
Eligibility, the covered event and effective period, covered losses, exclusions, benefit amounts, and claim requirements are governed by the issued policy and any applicable state forms. Review the coverage documents shown with the event, and contact the Everyday Life insurance support team when a product-specific detail is unclear.
